Well, it's finally happening guys, the iPhone 4 stock is starting to dwindle down from the US Apple store. It was 3 days before the 2011 MacBook Pros were unveiled that their availability was also short. http://www.appleinsider.com/article..._ship_times_slip_ahead_of_iphone_5_debut.html

Good sign. Combining with the Best Buy leak, we can comfortably say that iPhone 5 will be around here late October

Guys, the iPods are in short availability too, along with the Apple TV! pics:

FWIW, my friend went to replace his daughter's iPhone at the Apple store yesterday and they didn't have any in stock. I thought that was weird, until reading this.

He went to the Perimeter Apple Store in Atlanta, so it's not like it was a smaller town one either. (do they exist in smaller towns?)

Nice.. what do these usually show for shipping times?

24 hours usually.

Well, to put it this way, there is no official Apple Store in West Virginia... which is kindof sad. Apple's demographics are pretty strict.

The plus of not having one in your state is you can order from Apple.com and not pay sales tax since Apple doesn't have to remit sales tax to your state. Of course I do like having one within 15 minutes of my house just in case I need something quick.

Perhaps a more telling sign of an impending iPhone announcement is the total lack of iPhone accessories at ROSS stores. THAT has never happened. ;)
