I saw this story linked off of the Drudge Report, claiming this person dropped their iPhone 4 from about a foot up.
I guess those cases are needed!!

If posted already.. delete please.

Seriously. WTF was Apple thinking?

I don't get why they ever switched away from the aluminum design of the original iPhone. Durable AND beautifully designed.

If it's good enough to use in the industrial design of the MBPs, it should be good enough for the phones.

um is that even a real iphone 4???? my camera looks nothing like that. the ring around lens is very thin. and the flash doesnt look like that.

Fake photo

The crack extends beyond the border of the phone on the left

Lame PS fail

That's definitely a white iPhone 4. You can even see the outside antenna.

lol no thats from motion blur. Whoever took the picture could not sit still, so the image is blurred. It's definitely a 3G or 3Gs.

Again the "ring" around the camera hole on the broken iPhone looks larger because of the motion blur. ;)
But still after looking at it, the broken iPhone does look kind of fake...it would explain the intentional blur :)

the cracked phone looks like a 3g or 3gs and the phone taking teh picture looks like ip4...

weird

Damn that sucks. Glad I waited to decide on the iPhone 4! I usually wait until its available anywhere anytime. :)

Why whenever there is an issue the person never posts a decent picture? FFS everyone I know has at least a 5mp point and shoot.
