Iphone 4 Backlight problem!

Hello MacRumors forumers!

I recently bough an iphone 4 with the front glass broken. I also bought a display and front glass to make the iphone like new. I managed to put the display and all the things worked out fine. But i forgot to put the protection sieve at the ear-speaker and had to tear it apart and reasamble again. After that the iphone is working but only the backlight lights up like the video shown down here:

Is the display you bought OEM one? Aftermarket one always has quality problem.

The problem is that no other display works... So I'm thinking is something from the motherboard!

I have this same problem, if you all find a solution let me know.


I changed the home button and the battery connector came un soildered so I got it connected back to the logic board but the backlight works but the screen doesn't. So I don't know if one of the connections that maybe powers the LCD is not making a good connection or what. I can't find any info on the internet.

Maybe you unluckily damaged your lcd flex cable or connectors, I'm not sure...

None displays work. It's surtenly something from the motherboard!
