Hey all,

I'm hoping someone here can help me out of the mess I got myself in. I tried upgrading to iOS 6 beta to try it out. Beforehand, I synced my phone on my Windows 7 PC. It's set to backup to this PC, so I thought I was good once the sync completed.

The steps I followed said to restore to 5.1.1, set it as a new phone (not restore from backup), and then update to 6.0. I tried that this morning and actually had trouble with the 6.0 file. So, I decided to go back to the way I was. Now, when I try to restore from backup, I don't see my old backups at all! I only see the new backup, which is basically a fresh install.

Is there any way to get my old backup back? I tried looking in C:\users\username\appdata\roaming\apple computer\mobilesync\backup as well as in the Device Backups area in iTunes settings. I also tried using a deleted file recovery tool and couldn't find it that way.

The main things I'm missing are: 1. about a month of camera roll of my kids, and 2. all data from apps for the 5 years I've owned iPhones.

Help!

Thanks in advance,
Will
