I recently acquired a iPhone 4 Sprint, sadly, I use ATT and Sprint iPhones are not compatible. But this doesn't mean I cant use the iPhone 4 as a iPod. So for now, its purpose is just for games, music, etc.

I bought one of the gold batteries off eBay and was wondering what type of increase I will get in hours.

The gold batteries are 2630mah I am pretty sure.

At best they're the same capacity as the original. You simply can't get more out of the available volume. I bet if you peel off the gold label it's the same old black battery the others sell.

chambone is correct, the "gold style long life battery" is just a cheap cover up of the original china crap knockoff battery. Do the USA a favor and stay away from that garbage.
