iphone 4 battery usage

Hi guys, I'm currently using an iphone 4. Every time I'm home, I always plug it into my comp and let it charge, regardless of how much battery is left. And I often use the phone while it's still being charged. Will that harm the battery in anyway (like making it drain out faster or something)?
