iphone 4 battery ?????

gsm iphone 4 with a bad battery.. i put in a battery from a cdma iphone 4 phone works fine but wen the battery dies out...i have to put the battery back in the cdma phone for it to charge..........but the battery will charge on the gsm iphone if it not all the way dead....any info would be great
