iphone 4 (biteSMS and Anyring)

So I set a special ringtone for my SMS through Anyring and it was working fine however after installing the newest version of biteSMS it doesn’t work. I uninstalled biteSMS and it works fine but after installing it again it doesn’t work. So the new ringtone feature in biteSMS disables anything else including the native sms tone or anyring? does this mean I have to set a ringtone through biteSMS? cause right now its on “none” and nothing plays when I receive a text message.
