Ive managed to brick my iPhone 4 :( I cant get it out of recovery mode.

Ive tried tiny umbrella, fix recovery and neither work to get it out of recovery mode.

Any help greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks!

more info and no its not bricked

I upgraded to 4.3.5. I tried to downgrade to 4.3.3 using the redpie method. I got my SHSH blob from Cydia. everything seemed to be going ok, got the expected error etc. I then tried to exit recovery using Tiny umbrella and it wouldnt exit it, kept going straight back in to it.

I then tried fix win which seemed to be working, but then put it back into recovery again.

Im currently trying to download 4.3.5 again to see if it'll let me re-install it.

Just use pwnagetool (mac) or sn0wbreeze (windows) and using a custom ipsw downgrade to iOS 4.3.3. And no, it's not a brick.

I just have the itunes logo with the cable on the screen. Will sn0wbreeze work with this?

Well something is happening.. Its got a the snow flake on the screen and the progress bar, but no progress....

I tunes is just saying waiting for iPhone.

Ok, got progress bar going across now

Progress bar stopped near the end....... sat there for a bit now........

I used http://www.redmondpie.com/downgrade...-ipad-ipod-touch-4g-3g-how-to-tutorial-guide/

will the ipsw file i downloaded from there work?

Thanks.

I cant see what to do from there though?
get official apple firmware from here http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ then cook or prepare it with Sn0wbreeze. presuming your pc you can also use Redsn0w as well as pwnage tools http://ih8sn0w.com/index.php/products/view/sn0wbreeze.snow also don't forget dfu is a black screen. Redmondpie tutorials are not the best Iclarified is much better source.
yes that is sn0wbreeze don't forget to run the TSS server in tinyumbrella and you might have to kick it out of recovery via I reb

in the other forum you have a screenshot of tiny umbrella showing your blobs, did you run TSS Server in tiny umbrella before you Shift+restored in itunes?

Well i *think* its worked. I am currently doing a restore sync at the moment. Interestingly my phone says i have no service?

No I didnt run TSS before I did the shift restore.

The instructions didnt say to do it.. I guess I shouldve?

Thanks.
