iPhone 4 brightness

I just recently got the iPhone 4 and I've read different people's tips regarding battery but I was wondering what other iPhone 4 users are setting their brightness at? Should I turn off auto-brightness cuz it uses more battery?

I've always kept it 1/4 on brightness but I just recently put the brightness in the middle and battery was dropping pretty quickly. So I just wanna see what others are doing

I kept my iphone 3G's brightness about about 30-40%

I find the iPhone 4 is much dimmer in low-light situations... shockingly so. I actually thought it was a glitch for a while. Now I keep it at aobout 60%
