Iphone 4 Bumper

What are the opinions on these for people who have dropped their phones. I have a 5 year old and a 16 month old who sometimes hold my phone. I ordered AppleCare+ for my new iPhone 4S so I'm feeling a little more risky and would love to have a thinner case. How well do you think it protects the phone?

Has anyone used one of the knock offs? Is there any place that sells the real ones for a discount or should I just pay $29 for a tiny bit of plastic and rubber?

I ordered 3 of these last week; I've been using the AT&T ones on my iPhone 4 for awhile now and have had no problems with them whatsoever.

The sw box ones feel kinda cheap. The apple one is a little more "higher quality" but I wouldn't pay $29 for it. Find one on here or eBay. I wouldn't recommend the bumper though. It will definitely scratch the metal band no matter how clean you keep the mating surfaces. Also, the edges here it touches the screen collect pocket dust and it's a pain to clean. My $0.02.
