iphone 4 case

I want to buy a case for iphone 4 (besides the bumper that is offered for free), i dont know whether to go for speck candy shell or speck pixelskin hd so i hope i could use your experience with these cases.

the candyshell looks thick and bulky. does this case feel bulky and heavy in hand because of its thickness?
or does it feel smooth and easy enough in hand which doesnt bother you carrying it every where?

about the speck pixelskin hd does this case provide enough protection if the phone falls on ground?

finally what is your favorite speck case?
