Can anyone give me a list of web sites that have either a color swap service or a color swap kit for the iphone 4?

I'm trying to search around and thinking about coloring swapping my phone.

There are usually kits listed on eBay... make sure you get one that is compatible with your model... the Verizon and AT&T iP4s have different kits/parts.

I am thinking about this site, it seems like the cheapest one, whats the turn around rate? how long were you without a phone?

YEA Go with him he is good.
I overnighted him the phone. it took him one day to do it and he shipped it prority since it was friday. He included return shipping in his price but it priority so just pay him extra for overnight or 2nd day and he will work it out for you. And best thing is you get to keep your old parts.

I went with ifixdirect in november 2010. Some problems occurred, and to make a long story short, I am currently still awaiting a $200+ refund.

ifixdirect, if you're reading this, contact me through PM to get this thing finally solved, once and for all. I'm getting pretty frustrated now, but you still got the benefits of the doubt.

At this moment I would not recommend ifixdirect to anyone though.

No offense bro, but if you're waiting 10 months for a 200 refund, you're not going to get it.

Had my iPhone 4S color swapped at colormyi.com. They make you send it in, but they did great work...fast too. They don't sell the DIY kits, but then again, I don't really trust myself to take one of these things apart without screwing something up lol.

Wonder why Apple doesn't make the iPhone in color like they did with the iPod Nano. It came in nine different colors! I guess if they can't keep white in stock (remember the iPhone 4 launch?), then nine colors would probably be difficult.

Holy crap, just checked out colorware and it's soo expensive! Who would spend $1000+ to swap the colors on a $600 phone??!

bought mine for $48 on ebay, friend at work is going to do the swap for me. no need to spend more than $50 on one imo. they're all the same anyway, i laugh at these dudes spending $150+ lol

thinking about using them to make my iphone 4 pink. how long did it take you to get your phone back? can you post pictures please? thanks!

Retina display

When you buy these color changing kits from these different websites are you buying a retina display or a lesser quality digitizer.

I sent it overnight and paid an additional $10 for overnight return shipping, so it was pretty fast. It shipped on a Wednesday and returned that Saturday. Very pleased!
