I've been having a strange problem with my iPhone and nothing I've tried so far has worked (i've looked up most posts on related issues).

My iPhone is connecting fine with most wireless networks but in my dorm room I only have connection through ethernet so i started Internet Sharing from my macbook. My internet sharing has also not given me trouble before this.

The internet sharing itself does not seem to be the problem. I have two macbooks, 2007 macbook and 2009 macbook pro, and i'm sharing from the 2007. The connection is working fine on my pro.

The problem i'm experiencing is that my iPhone sees the network, connects to the network, stays connected for about a minutes, then disconnects automatically. After doing this for about 10-15 minute the phone just turns off.
And it doesn't just turn off. I have to do the home/sleep button reset to get it to respond again.

Among other things i've reset the iPhone's network settings, tried messing with internet sharing options based on tips on the forums and of course also tried restarting everything etc.

Just to repeat something I mentioned earlier, the iPhone has no such problem connecting to other wireless networks. Just the one with internet sharing.
