iPhone 4 crackle and static when making a call.

I have an iPhone4, this week it has started to crackle and sort if static noise from the "ear" speaker. Plays music fine, internet all ok .

I read lots of people are having this problem, Apple haven't said anything yet.

Has someone had the problem, or better still fixed it?

Any help would be great.

Probably just hearing a bad connection.
