iPhone 4 detected by iTunes but won't charge.

Hello, my iPhone started acting weird two days ago. Whenever I plug it in to a wall charger and my computer, it makes the little noise that alerts me it's plugged in, but it won't charge. It is detected on iTunes on my Macbook but again. it won't charge. It also says something about it can't be charged with this accessory. Any Ideas?

Have you got another iPhone cable to try? I had this issue a while back and it ended up being that my cable that was causing the problem.
