recently my home button stopped working and i got it fixed via a 3rd party..

the problem i now i have is that the iPhone will not switch off & stay off. Once i turn it off, it turns itself back on right away. the battery also seems to run down quickly.

guy in shop seemed to think it has some water damage on connector ( never been dropped in water ) so the connector must be sensitive.

could this issue be caused by a faulty dock connector & worth getting replaced ?

hope someone can help, thanks
