iPhone 4 does not show songs on ipod

Hi,
I am getting message "you must sync to iTunes to use iPod"
My iPhone is jailbreaked and iTunes is deleting files from my iPhone.
I can't view or use songs on my iphone

What do I need to do to view files and stop iPhone from wanting to sync to iTunes?
