My iphone was working fine...had 33% battery power left. All of a sudden the phone would not turn on. Blank screen.

If you ring it...you can hear it ringining from another phone, but from the Iphone 4- u press sleep button- again and again..you cant disconnect the call or even answer...the Iphone 4 is still blank.

Any advice before i go to the apple store?

Inside i have a pay as you go sim.

Its NOT jailbroken. Iphone 4 is unlocked from Apple store.

No idea?

So know one here has any idea what may be wrong with the Iphone 4?

and i was hoping some clever bunch are here...

is that a canadian or overseas iPhone? unlocked f/ apple and pay as you go sim?

Did it ever charge the battery? Maybe there was a problem with the charger or cable. Try charging from your computer or with a different cable if possible.

As mentioned above, if it doesn't respond to anything there is not much you can do.

Just hold down the power button and the home button, at the same time, until it restarts. It will take about 10 seconds.

That will fix your problem.

It worked

Yes that last step worked went to the apple store and the specilisy god that.

I did try that maybe it wasn't as long as 10 secs...

I notice I may have a dead pixel in my iPhone 4.. Can apple sort this out?
