iPhone 4 dropped, screen cracked a little. Which of these options is best?

I cracked the top left of the screen, which covered the front facing camera with a big blur, and left a 2in. Long crack on the display.
I have best buy black tie protection and I regret it.

My options:
A) buy the new iPhone 4s for $450.
B) let best buy fix it for a $50 deposit and have to be without my lifeline for 3 weeks.
C) let genius bar fix it for $150
D) deal with the crack
E) buy the new iPhone 4s, let best buy fix my current one. Then Sell the fixed iPhone, so I get a little money back.

What do you think is my best option?
 
Buy a new screen yourself and fix it, sell it on eBay, buy a 4S.

I just checked ifixit.com and they have the screen for $150. That being the case, maybe have the genius bar do it.

maybe it can be bought cheaper straight from China.
 
Sounds like some good options, and if you're interested in the 4S I think the iPhone 4s are still selling good, if you're up for an upgrade.
 
I'm not eligible for the $200 upgrade. Just the $450.

I was going to buy the new one and let best buy fix the old one then eBay the fixed iPhone 4

Because what if the genius bar does charge me $150?
 
I'm going to take it to the genius bar Tuesday anyway and see what I can get done. I just don't see the pros of the 4S over the 4!
 
It had a case (albeit, not a good one).

I just HATE bulky cases. I like the sleekness and thin qualities of the phone. I don't want to hold a brick :/
 
I'm in the same position as you. I dropped my iPhone a couple of months ago, and its full of 6-7 cracks on the screen :(

I decided to order a white screen and backplate from WeFixMac for about $50 and change the screen myself.

Lifeproof case brother. I've had one for a couple of weeks now and its the best.
 
I decided to use my uncles upgrade to get the iPhone 4S, allowing him to keep his phone and lessening the price on the upgrade.

Still taking my iPhone 4 to Apple tomorrow to see if they will fix it.
If so, I'll sell it!

If not, I'll use my Best Buy insurance, get it fixed then sell it!

Well, they wouldnt fix it!

Luckily my local best buy has one iphone left gonna try and go get it tomorrow when they open!

Wish me luck.

And im gonna let them fix my current phone.
 
Well apple wouldn't fix it do I bought my new iPhone 4s from best buy and then turned in a repair for my iPhone 4. :) should have it back next week.
 
Cracked screen on Iphone 4

Question;

Recently dropped Iphone 4 and large cracks on screen were the result. I have found replacement screens on line, but my issue is I am a wunderadio fanatic and since the drop my connection does not work in certain locations. My office used to have solid 3G connection for wunderadio, but now I get the message "no connection". However, I can step outside and the 3G connection is available.

I wanted to know if replacing the screen is not the only problem and what that problem could be and how to remedy? No problems with calls, so I am not sure what I am seeing.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
