I was standing up off the couch and holding my phone in the case I have been using for now, a leather Beyza pouch that I had for my 3G. Naturally, it is loose in there, due to being a thinner phone. Well, it launched out of the case (still don't know how it had so much momentum) and flew about 5 feet and crashed into my son's hard plastic toy very loudly. My wife looked at me and said, "that wasn't your phone, was it?"

I picked it up and immediately noticed no marks at all. Cleaned it with a microfiber cloth and inspected it closely. Zero Marks.
Of course, plastic shouldn't damage it all, but it was a pretty hard impact.
Come on case, just a few more days and I'll have my BSE and SwitchEasy Nude Case. Then I'll feel better.
