Hello, I'm trying to help a friend who dropped his iPhone 4 and broke the glass on the top. The LCD is fine and still functions perfectly, it's just that the glass is cracked, but I'm having a hard time finding what exactly I need to buy in order to fix it.

Any help?

Thanks! :D

Something like this?

Yes, but I'd try eBay, the quality of that part doesn't look very good at all looking at some of the customer images

You can get the do it yourself kit from icracked.com. It's $64 for the iPhone 4. I got one and replaced my wife's screen. Took one hour and the quality is perfect. Plus it comes with directions and the tool kit needed. Best replacement option for the price. I don't trust the $20-30 eBay screens.

Check Craigslist for a local shop that does iPhones call them up and ask them if they will sell you one ....I sell them at my shop for $30 tax included and I test them before the customer takes it home
