Anyone else getting really poor GPS readings in the default Maps application? It's showing me quite a few streets away from where I actually am..

Haven't tested in any other GPS-type application such as TomTom, just wondered if anyone else has experienced any quirks with GPS?

It first uses triangulation to approximate my location (which is a few thousand feet off), then after a few seconds it captures the GPS.

My compass also wants to re-calibrate itself a lot lately.

Theres a glitch in the Matrix... :p

Nah but seriously, that sucks! Hopefully when all this madness and craziness subside it'll all be smooth sailing. "Hopefully"

Hmm, I'll keep an eye on it. Don't really want to be going down some roads I don't know, rely on TomTom and suddenly the iPhone's Location Service saying I'm a mile away... could be disastrous :p

Are you indoors, and are you waiting long enough for the GPS signal to lock in. It's not an instantaneous process.

Seems to be better outdoors then moving indoors, maybe just a quirk, I'll monitor it
