iPhone 4 grid view photo issue..

sorry if this has been brought up but i searched the forums and found nothing.

I have the iPhone 4 and when i go to my photos and go to grid view, my pics are all blacked out.

I called apple and have sent my phone in to get repaired, however im having the same issue with the loaner iphone 4 they gave me (which seems to be brand new). Before i contact Apple again, I'm wondering if anyone else has had/is having this issue.
