Does anyone know how to bypass the iPhone 4 activation screen? Is that possible? Will it be?
I'm asking you cause I "hacktivated" my iPhone 2G a while ago just by jailbreaking it. NEED HELP

Right now the only iPhone 4 compatible jailbreak is userland, which is far too high level for hacktivation. Until a jailbreak becomes available that is lower level, it won't be possible.

what do u mean by "high and low level"?

all I want to do is bypass the stupid activation screen.

If it's asking for 4 digits of SSN and zip code, it cannot be done.
If something other, get a sim card (borrow or buy from eBay) for the carrier who issued the phone (use Model # and Google to figure this out)

actually, I'm going to buy an iPhone, but now i'm living in this crappy place, called brazil, im not gonna buy it unlocked, imma unlock it myself, just like I did with my old iphone. when you turn it on for the first time, it asks you to sync it with itunes, which will activate your iphone. but to activate you need the original SIM card, which I will not have. So, all I want to know is a way to bypass the "activation screen" and then unlock it.

I told you and you just typed it.
Get an official sim (borrow or buy) from the carrier who issued the phone.

and BTW... I quoted the wrong thing when I talked about where I live and about my situation.

ok, I get it. But isn't it going to ask me to fill something up (name, social security, all your Att info.) which I will not have. ?

If it's the correct sim card for phone issuer, it should just activate it.

Dont u still have to give your SSN and your information when activating with the original SIM?
