iPhone 4 has a red LED light when I make phone calls

I recently went to the Genius Bar because I had a few issues with my iPhone 4. When I got it back, I noticed the camera flash is much more yellow, and I notice when I make phone calls this LED red light, lights up when I'm using it located above the front facing camera. What is that? I still do have freezing issues when answering calls so I may go back to the Genius Bar tomorrow.

As far as the red light goes, that is the Proximity Sensor, some people have notice that with the latest software update (4.1) that the sensor will glow red.
