Hi i just got my Iphone 4 and am a serious noob using it. So i decided to jailbreak it using redsnow ( my version is 4.2.1) and now every time i switch it on it gets stuck on the silver apple logo and the only way to put it on is to go to my mac, open redsnow and go just boot tethered right now. How can i switch my phone on and off freely

THANKS A LOT IN ADVANCE.

You can't switch freely on and off. It is a tethered jailbreak. Just don't turn off your phone unless you REALLY have to (on a plane etc.).

Oh okay did some research found that i need an unteathered jailbreak but for that to happen my cydia version must be 4.2b3 but for me it says SHSH: ios 4.2.1 on cydia. Is there an unteathered jailbreak that doesn't require this specific version of cydia???
