iPhone 4 Home Button Not Responsive Unless Center

Hi,

I just got my iPhone 4 two days ago and I have noticed that the home button only responds when I press it within the white square in the middle. If I click on any of the edges, it doesn't respond at all. This is rather annoying because more often than not, without really paying attention, I find myself pressing it at a certain angle and it's not working.

Is this normal? If not, can I get support from the Apple Retail Store even if I bought it at a different place?

take it to an apple store. they'll replace it. i had one do the same thing to me.
