iPhone 4 home/power button don't work

My iPhone 4 sometimes get stuck and I cannot put the phone to sleep or even go back to the home screen. Whatever app is running continues to run and the touch screen still works. Only a reset by holding the power and home button together returns the phone to normal again. What should I do? Restore the phone? Anyone else seeing this?
