iPhone 4 - how to get your data over like game saves?

I'm a lucky pre-order for the 24th and have a dumb question. I have a lot of games I have played with hours of time invested on my 3GS. How do I get those saves over to my iPhone 4 so I do not have to start over?

Restore the backup of your iPhone to the new one. If I recall correctly, you are given that option when you setup the new one.

Cool. I will try that and even go as far as have that 3gs backed up as iOS4.

The last time I did a restore I recall I was very disappointed that only settings and apps restored but not my saves. That was a very long time ago so I guess thats been fixed.
