iPhone 4 in Iran

Hey everyone,
does anybody know if the new iPhone 4 will work in Iran/Tehran? I'm living in Toronto and one of my friends ask me to buy an UNLOCKED iPhone 4 from the Apple store. I know that unlocked devices will work with all providers but I just want to make sure if it does also with 'Hamrahe-awal' or other Iranian providers.

Also, does someone know if the device can be JB in Iran/Tehran too? If yes, where?

As long as the provider has a GSM network, it should work unless the Iranian government has done something to ban imported phones. It can be jailbroken anywhere as long as you have access to the internet.
