iPhone 4 in October

Aloha,

It's my birthday in October and I was wondering if there would be any major revisions of the iPhone 4 in less than 6 months after October.

I know nobody can predict the future, but what was the time span between the iPhone 3G and the 3GS?

I've also read that AT&T plans to have a full 4G network by January of 2011, does the current iPhone have 4G compatibilities or will there be a new iPhone update in 2011? I'd be willing to wait if a new 4G phone was to be released.

Any other thoughts/comments?

revisions always come out in June. So you'll be good by 8 months or so.
