iPhone 4 iOS 4.1 speed improved?

I've just tested my 3G upload/download speeds and they have gone way up!
I was getting nowhere near these speeds before I upgraded just over an hour ago. I don't want to claim this is definitely changed but I was not getting these speeds ever before.

It may be due to it being late at night so the network is free but I have done a late night test before and never had these speeds!

Yes I'm thinking maybe the time it is here and the network being free but I have not seen these type of speeds ever especially the upload speed.

Lol it's about 6 times faster upload speed than my broadband at home
