I have a couple of questions about the iOS 5.0.1 on iPhone 4:
My iphone 4 is on 4.0.1 firmware with 01.59.00 baseband, did the jailbreak and unlock back then and never bothered to upgrade it to the newer versions of iOS.
What's the best way (if possible) to get the 5.0.1 and keep the jailbreak and the unlock? I'm currently living in Europe and the unlock is vital for me.

Thank you!

thanks for the link, I'm on a Mac and I have some experience with the PwnageTool. My question is: will I keep the unlock by using the custom IPSW file for 5.0.1? If I need to do the unlock again, I don't have an original ATT sim card.
Thank you!

Yes.
With a custom ipsw u will save your unlockable baseband.
You might need to find an AT&T sim to activate.

redsnOw did it for me, been able to upgrade to 5.0.1, jailbreak and unlock and the orange sim card was recognized. Thanks guys!
