Alright guys..so here it is: I stupidly and impulsively just bought an iPhone 4 on craigslist already updated on iOS5 (with 04.11.08 BB). :(
And I've been using ulocked 3GS on T-mobile for a long time now. I'm wondering if restoring with a custom IPSW can downgrade the BB and somehow allow Ultrasn0w to work? The new Redsn0w beta won't let Windows users create a custom, but I just downloaded one online. Is it worth it to go through the hassle of restoring/jailbreaking again for nothing?

Or if anyone is aware of alternatives to my problem, I'd appreciate that too. :)

If Apple is still signing iOS 4.3.5 you can downgrade your phone to 4.3.5 and your baseband will be downgraded as well. Thats what did last week. Good luck

Yea I was bummed when I found out that Apple stopped signing 4.3.5.
Oh well, thanks for the responses! And I think I might just wait until they can unlock the new bb instead of switching carriers. I think I can just use my old t-mobile phone until then.
Thanks guys!
