Iphone 4 ipod app crashing

Every so often after playing a video in the Ipod app I press the 'Videos' tab in the top left corner to go back to the video list and the app crashes and I'm back to the home screen.This continues to happen until I do a hard reset which fixes the problem for a while but after a week or so (without a hard reset) it's back again.It doesn't affect podcast or music playback.I'm running 4.1 and don't remember this happening with 4.0.2
