iPhone 4: Ipod issues

If Ipod is playing music, locking/unlocking the phone or "minimizing" Ipod app will cause the music to stop for about half a second. This happens to me 90% of the time and doesn't occur other music apps such as Pandora, Last.fm, etc. I'm curious if others have the same problem as well.
