iPhone 4, iPod pauses when I go into Photos

If I have a photo loaded in camera roll, when I go from iPod to Photos my music stops playing, anything I'm missing in settings?

Is it a photo, or is it a video in your camera roll? iPod pauses for videos in case you were to hit play.
