Hello,
My Iphone won't charge anymore. It has been struggling for quite a while and I regularly get the dust out of the charging port with a bend paperclip, but that does not seem to do the trick this time. I also had to wiggle before it would charge, but that never led to any troubles until now.
My phone has shut down now, but when I put the charger in and wiggle it a bit , at one point the black screen with white texting alerting me to charge first comes up, so it seems my phone does recognises something in its charging port.
However, if I try to leave my phone exactly like that, after a while I'm still not able to boot my phone.

I've searched a lot on forums on the internet but nothing I found is my problem I think.

Any suggestions??

Check with other cables and power sources.
Disassembly and clean.
Replace connector and or battery.
iFixit.com

I have tried other cables and this one charges my iPod just fine.
How do I figure out which of those 2 possible issues is bugging me?
