iPhone 4 is stuck at the apple logo screen

Hi,

I have a jailbroken iPhone 4 running on 4.1. I went to erase all content and settings. After progress bar was completed the phone rebooted it self and doesn't go past the Apple logo screen.

It shows the apple logo with the moving gears, and just doesn't go past it. How do I restore!!?????

I have fixed this problem, by unplugging the USB cord from my iMac, holding the home screen, and re-plugging the other end of the USB core to the iMac, and did a force system restore
