Hello guys.

I'm now trying to Upgrade my iPhone 4 iOS 4.1 to iOS 4.2.1 , But it keeps showing me error 1013 and 3194.
I tried editing hosts file and DFU mode first and now my iPhone 4 is stuck on DFU Mode. I tried kicking it out with TinyUmberlla but it kicks out and gets back into DFU, I also tried doing DFU without it being connected the the Mac and without.

What's wrong?!

Do you have 4.2.1 SHSH blobs saved, through Cydia (edit host file) or locally through Tinyumbrella?

Someone on this or another site suggested running GreenPoison to kick it out. Not the whole JB, just until it "kicks." I can't vouch for this, but if you are truly stuck.... :)

Oh, in answer to the post above mine, OP has: Mac Mini 2010: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 Ghz, 4GB RAM , nVidia 320M 256MB. | iPod Touch 2G 8GB | iPhone 4G 16GB

Uhmm. As I said on the topic , I do use Mac OS.
And anyways, I'm interested in upgrading my iOS to 4.2.1 But there's no way to do it . I always keep getting errors.
Yes I did edit the Hosts file but it keeps returning back. I keep having apple.gs or something like that 127.0.0... twice and another one starting with 72 or something... But if I remove them they just show up again later.

Okay fixed it! Thanks to dudeabiding with the Greenposion suggestion I'm now on Version 4.2.1 in BB of 4.1 :)
