iPhone 4 jailbreak/unlock

Hi everyone.

I have an iPhone 4 that is on 5.0.1 and 4.11.08 bb. From what I've read, I can only jailbreak this phone as there is no option to unlock it. I just wanted to confirm if this is true and if there is anyway to change the bb to a unlockable one.

If it's locked to AT&T you can officially unlock it for $2-3 or so.
You know what carrier it's locked to?

It is locked to AT&T. How would I go about unlocking it with them?

If you have an eBay account go there and search for AT&T iPhone unlock.
If you don't like eBay go to google and search for swift unlocks. They only charge $1.99 per unlock and it takes less than 24 hours to complete.
