iPhone 4 keeps powering off

So everytime I lat my iPhone 4 down, horizontally either back down or face down it powers off. This morning I almost missed my train to work because the alarm never went off because the phone was powered off. It also takes at least 3 times for it to power back on when I try.

Should I call Apple or go in to the store for a Genius appt?

Has anyone else been having this issue??

One of my coworkers had this problem since he got the phone and he had to call apple for a replacement.

I had this problem (it kept freezing and the display would go dark)...
I called Apple support and they made a Genius Bar appointment for me at my local store the next day. The Apple Store then proceeded to replace my phone with a brand new one in a sealed retail box (not a white boxed replacement or refurb)...New one has no issues as of yet!

appointment set for tomorrow at 10:30 am I hope they have replacements left!

Mine does it too, it's so annoying. It takes forever to come back on too.
