iPhone 4 Keeps restarting

I got my new iPhone a couple of week's ago ( Broke my old one ) I noticed today it was at 5% battery and I was typing and died at 5% I plugged it in after it powered down, and it just booted right back up. Then, died then booted then died. It's as if my battery is reporting it's at 5% when it's not.
