Is he getting his money back?

Someone did a 20-30 minute review once of a very similar model.
 
At least it's a real phone.

One of the scams in NYC not long ago was to take an iPhone store dummy phone and put in a transparent color slide and battery powered light.

Then when they'd get people to come into an alley to buy a "lost iPhone they just found" (or a "new" one in a used Apple box) for only $100, they could hit the main button and show off a lock screen very quickly to "prove" it worked.

By the time the buyer really checked out the phone, the seller was long gone.
