iPhone 4 lagging badly under iOS5

I can almost type a text message before it displays. iPod app take 4 seconds to show what's playing. I've restored, rebooted everything. Any other suggestions?

Fully close open apps? I've had no speed issues on the iPhone 4 with iOS 5.

Call Apple. Toll free, and you have free support. No, what you're experiencing is not normal. So give Apple a call and ask them to help you fix it.
