Ok I am about to throw the phone out onto the highway.
I have the problem where the mic dies on outgoing calls.
I have done the " tighten the screw " trick with some success, however a day or two later it dies. I again open it up and loosen and tighten that one screw up near the headphone jack and it works again for a while.
Does anyone have any insight into what two parts that screw is holding together. It seems to me like two parts are being held together mechanically and electronically with that screw and the electrical connection is failing.
Will totally dismantling the phone and cleaning something help?
