iPhone 4 mail error message

Equipment:
VZW iPhone 4 untethered JB on 5.0.1

Problem:
I am using the native email app on my device. I am getting the dreaded 'cannot get mail-username or password is incorrect'

What could be causing this issue?

All my accts work for a few hours or even longer. But eventually I have to hard reset to get mail.

Any ideas?
