iPhone iPhone 4: MMS

Hi

My gf bought an iPhone 4, but has some trouble with sending and receiving of mms messages.
She did follow the instructions of her carrier though and did fill in the mobile date network settings correctly.
Also the mms option in settings > messages > mms is activated.
Still it won't work. Is there any other thing I could have forgot?

Tried a reboot?

Have you connected the iPhone to iTunes and check if there are any carrier update?

Also Make sure wifi is turned off when u send a mms message. I have the same phone and figured it out. Hope it helps

Did several reboots and even restoring (and putting the data network settings back)
If I'd connect the phone to iTunes, would the carrier settings update pop up?
Because it doesn't so I don't think there are any.

Are providers capable of blocking the MMS option? She has a very weird data plan, connected to her company?I don't really know how it's called and what it consists, neither does she, smh.
