iPhone 4 model numbers different now?

Curious as to why these numbers are different? Can someone explain this?

Old Model Numbers:
Apple iPhone 4 - 8 GB - MD439LL/A
Apple iPhone 4 - 8 GB in White - MD440LL/A

According to Best Buy's website and a new phone I purchased:
Apple iPhone 4 - 8 GB - MD146LL/A
Apple iPhone 4 - 8 GB in White - MD200LL/A
